A stylish timber vanity with visible wood grain (natural oak with chrome tap ware is my pick) adds texture and warmth to white space, topped with a vessel basin reminiscent of a nature retreat. Streamlined shapes are key to this look so opt for simple wall-hung designs for a floating effect that saves space, and recessed handles or touch-close drawers for clean lines. Use baskets or bins inside cupboards and storage trays in drawers to store all items away. If you want to add more impact, touches of black add depth to this look.
Base cabinets are versatile and can be used creatively to solve storage problems in small rooms. They can include shelves and/or storage drawers. Most commonly they are used in vanities but can also be used as an island, peninsula or room divider. They can be installed to fill empty spaces, such as under a window, or in front of a commode for privacy.
Keeping your bathroom to an all-white palette is an easy way to make it look more expensive than it is. If you’re sticking to white cabinetry, bench top, sink and tiling, incorporate texture into the space by introduced textured tiles in different shapes, greenery via large foliage plants and statement tap ware that looks modern and architectural. For an added designer touch opt for a sink that sit above the bench top.
