A floating bathroom vanity can be done in many different styles. It can be one large bathroom cabinet installed against the wall, it can be two small bathroom vanities set apart as it is here, or a floating bathroom vanity can be a simple as a single drawer and bench top in an en suite, the options are endless. The floating bathroom vanity is a very modern take on bathroom design and as you can see here the double bathroom vanity with individual floating cabinetry can not only be a practical addition to a spacious bathroom, but an aesthetically pleasing one too.
If you’ve seen those bathrooms where the sink seems to sit on top of the counter, you may have wondered how the plumbing works. This style of bathroom vanity cabinet is called a vessel vanity. The piping is hidden inside the walls, so only the faucet spouts and taps are exposed.
A transitional vanity represents the middle ground between a traditional vanity and a modern vanity. The elaborate carvings, hardware, and flourishes of traditional vanities are more subdued when it comes to transitional pieces. Yet, they avoid being so subdued that they become boring. This is where the modern style lends transitional vanities excitement through bold color contrasts, modern proportions, and brushed metal hardware.
